The Art Center Affiliated Groups are groups of artists working under the Art Center, each with their own set of guidelines, meeting schedules, goals & exhibitions.
Each group typically gets a dedicated exhibit once per year at the Art Center.

INDEPENDENTS are those that are NOT in one or any of the listed affiliated groups. They are not considered a group. The "Independents" also get a dedicated exhibit once per year.

ABOUT: The Bay Area Art League is a vibrant community of artists dedicated to promoting art at local, state, and national levels. Our mission is to inspire and support individual artistic growth by fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and showcasing artwork through exhibitions and events.
MEETINGS: Meetings are held at the Art Center of Corpus Christi and include organizational updates, networking opportunities, and engaging art demonstrations. Each month, we feature a new demo, highlighting a diverse range of mediums and artistic styles, followed by light refreshments.
EXHIBITIONS: In 2024, the Art Association of Corpus Christi merged with the Bay Area Art League, combining our rich legacies to create an even stronger platform for artists. Together, we present an annual exhibition at the Art Center. The next group show is scheduled for September 2025, showcasing the talent and creativity of our combined membership.

ABOUT: The Corpus Christi League for Fine Art Photography is a community of passionate photographers dedicated to advancing the art of photography. We provide opportunities for members to grow creatively, share their work, and engage in thoughtful discussions about the medium.
MEETINGS: Meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Members are encouraged to bring recent photography works to share and participate in group critiques. This supportive environment fosters artistic growth and prepares members for our biennial exhibition.
EXHIBITIONS: The CC League for Fine Art Photography hosts a biennial exhibit at the Art Center of Corpus Christi, showcasing the exceptional talent of our members. To be eligible for inclusion, pieces must first be presented at meetings for critique and discussion.
CORPUS CHRISTI HI-LIGHTS PORCELAIN ART CLUB
MISSION: To inspire interest, foster appreciation, and enhance skill in the timeless art of porcelain painting.
ABOUT: Established in 1968, the club is proud to be a member of the State Federation of Porcelain Art Clubs of Texas. With a rich history and a dedication to preserving and promoting porcelain art, we provide a welcoming space for artists of all levels to connect and grow.
MEETINGS: Join us every 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM at the Art Center of Corpus Christi (unless otherwise noted). Meetings begin with a brief business session, followed by a hands-on paint-along led by experienced members. Visitors are always welcome to drop in and explore this intricate art form!
EXHIBITIONS: Our members' exquisite work is on display year-round in the Members Gallery at the Art Center, offering a constantly rotating showcase of porcelain artistry.
